Turn it by hand and the coloured sand slowly falls through the glass, drawing a new landscape every time. There is no motor: it moves by gravity alone. Once the sand has settled, turn it again. Switched on, it works as an ambient light.
It is powered by a USB cable: you can plug it into a wall adapter, a power bank or your computer's USB port.
It comes in six sand colours: black and white, red, gold, blue, green and purple. Choose the one you like directly on the product page.
It is perfect on a nightstand, desk or shelf: at 31 cm tall it suits any space, from the bedroom to the office.
No maintenance is needed. Just avoid shaking the glass disc sharply, and keep it away from direct heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight.
